FIBC’s/Bulk bag production processes are evolving, and we are evolving along with it. The Fusion bag design represents another step in improving packaging needs especially in industries that have zero margin for error regarding contamination. It presents many advantages in comparison to the present traditional process of producing FIBC’s/Bulk Bags. This is also in line with our vision of growing to assist in creating more sustainable practices in world packaging, as the Fusion production process improves recyclability outlook for FIBC’s/Bulk bags.
Some key features of the fusion design are highlighted below:
- NO LINERS REQUIRED
Liners are traditionally used in FIBC’s/Bulk bags to protect the product from moisture and contamination. The unique construction of the Fusion bag eliminates the use of stitching as seams are fused together removing the risk of perforation from a sewing needle. The coating included on each bag provides a moisture barrier. These two things together replace the need for a traditional liner. - ENHANCED HYGIENE CONTROL
Having no human contact during the production process reduces the risk of contamination to the bag. The construction of the Fusion bag is performed completely by robots which increases consistency and food grade hygiene standards. The elimination of sewing removes the opportunity of needles, threads, and other contaminants from entering the bag. - MONITORED QUALITY PROCESS
The precision of robotic bag production used in the Fusion bag reduces the risk of errors that may be found in traditional human constructed FIBC/Bulk bags. - OPERATIONAL WITH CURRENT FILL/DISCHARGE EQUIPMENTS
The Fusion bag is fully compatible with existing equipment used for filling and discharging of FIBC’s/Bulk bags.
Advantages:
- Elimination of contamination
- Elimination of Liner Requirement
- Precision construction
- Improved recyclability of the FIBC/Bulk bag
Comparison of the Fusion Bag to the Lined and Unlined Traditional Bags
